Typical responsibilities for the President would include:
a. Presides at Board mettings (but, can make or second motions and vote on all matters before the Board in the manner as other trustees).
b. Acts as the "coordinator" of the Board and the District, including preparation of board meeting agendas and notices (although ultimately a meeting agenda is under the jurisdiction of the board itself).
c. Interfaces with the Fire Chief on Department matters.
